Twilight Renders

This is one of my renders using Twilight, a new rendering package we are using. The lights are from Visa lighting and MP lighting which provide sketchup models and EIS for the lighting spread.

Soft Furnishings

My choice of soft furnishings for inside the HSE Office is the BuzziHub Open from BuzziSpace. The material is acoustically sound and will act as an area for comfort and privacy for taking calls.

Brain Storming

This is just a bubble diagram of what sections need most attention within the office space. As noted before storage is a main issue, as is have a private section for phone calls and one to one meetings. Now I have to focus on the layout of the space and bring everything together.

Storage Problem

In the HSE Offices in Raheen Industrial Park, storage is one of the main problems within the space. I am yet to decide on weather to design my own storage solution or to look up office companies that sell storage cabinetry. In my secondary research I have gathered enough information to design a storage solution. 

HSE Office

For our final year project we have been asked to redesign the interior of the HSE office in Raheen Industrial Estate. From out site visit we learnt that storage is a problem and that there is no private place to make phone calls. There is also a temperature complaint with the fans overhead being either too warm or cold. I will hope to address these problems the further into the project.

New Year, Same Story

Happy New year everyone! Work carries on again after the long break. My Sketch Up model of my kiosk is looking well. The image above is what I used as a material on the model.

My Concept for the kiosk I am designing is the shape of noodles integrated with the fluidity of bamboo. The feeling I'm trying to create is a flexible and raw feel of the material and food.
